Taking Action Against Violence in Schools
Violence in any form has no place in schools. Yet, it remains a reality that affects students, school support staff[1], and all education sector personnel.
In response to this ongoing concern, efforts continue to denounce and address the issue. School system federations[2] and the *Centrale des syndicats du Québec* (CSQ) have produced a guide on preventing and responding to violence against education personnel.
This guide provides clear guidelines, practical tools, and courses of action for preventing and recognizing violence in schools, as well as for intervening effectively. A dedicated webpage has also been created to centralize all relevant information.
The guide aims to support schools in their prevention, intervention, and support efforts regarding both staff members and students.
