New National School Support Staff Week

Last May, delegates of the Conseil Fédéral of the Fédération du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) voted to transform National School Support Staff Day into National School Support Staff Week.

National School Support Staff Day was inaugurated by the FPSS-CSQ in 1999 as a way to highlight the value of school support staff. After 25 years, this transformation from one day to one week will give school support staff even greater visibility.

From a National Day to a National Week

Moving from a National Day to a National Week will make deeper reflection possible, giving us the opportunity to organize more activities to involve and reach out to a greater number of people.

This year, the Week will take place from September 22 to 28, 2024. In the future, it will always be held during the last full week of September.
