Agreements in Principle

Delegates from unions affiliated to the Fédération du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) have ratified proposed global settlements with the Comité patronal de négociation pour les centres de services scolaires francophones (CPNCF) and the Comité patronal de négociation pour les commissions scolaires anglophones (CPNCA). This ratification turns the offers into proposals for agreements in principle. They pertain to the sectoral working conditions of school support staff.

FPSS-CSQ President Éric Pronovost says “the details will be presented to members at the general assemblies of affiliated unions, as will the proposed intersectoral agreement, if it is deemed satisfactory.”

It should be noted that negotiations are ongoing for the renewal of the collective agreements of support staff in the Cree and Kativik school boards.
