School Control Framework

The Quebec Ministry of Education (MEQ) has just published a School Control Framework. It identifies preventive and supervisory practices for the use of control measures for the well-being and safety of students and school personnel.

It provides preventive and alternative interventions to reduce or avoid the use of control measures. Along with many other partners, the FPSS-CSQ was consulted for the drafting of this guide.

The MEQ has given the Fédération des centres de services scolaires du Québec a mandate to train, support and guide the entire school network in the province, both francophone and anglophone.
