the last Thursday of September, support staff working in Quebec school boards who are affiliated to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) celebrate their National Day.\u00a0 Many activities are organized throughout Quebec to raise awareness of the thousands of workers who, in collaboration with teachers and professionals, contribute to academic success.\r\n\r\nThe Federation uses this National Day to encourage people to respect and appreciate the daily work accomplished by its members in every region of Quebec, in addition to promoting the development of solidarity in the workplace.\r\n\r\nThe FPSS-CSQ introduced this day in 1999 to highlight the vital role school support staff play.\u00a0 The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) is the only federation that exclusively represents school support staff in Quebec schools and centers.\u00a0 It has close to 36,500 members working in school boards throughout Quebec.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Here are the dates of the next National Days:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>September 26, 2024<\/li>\r\n \t<li>September 25, 2025<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>World Education Support Personnel Day<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe World Education Support Personnel Day which was initiated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ei-ie.org\/en\/item\/22466:un-evenement-historique-linternationale-de-leducation-lance-la-premiere-journee-mondiale-des-personnels-de-soutien-a-leducation-pse\">Education International<\/a>.\u00a0 Educational International, however, includes school support staff, higher education support staff and professionals, because in many countries education staff is divided into two groups: teaching and non-teaching staff.\u00a0 In Quebec, we have separate definitions for support staff and professional staff.\r\n\r\nWe will celebrate the World Education Support Personnel Day
