If necessary, he or she takes digital photographs or scans documents, performs computer graphics retouching and creates sound files and animation.\r\n\r\nHe or she provides advice to the staff on the artistic component of the presentations and the choice of media and computer-based support.\r\n\r\nHe or she designs and produces layouts.\r\n\r\nIn his or her work, the employee ensures that copyright and licensing rights are respected.\r\n\r\nHe or she draws plans and prepares construction specifications.\r\n\r\nHe or she uses a computer and the necessary software to perform his or her duties related to desktop publishing, drawing, graphic design, computer graphics and multimedia presentation; conducts research on the Internet and may be required to assist a staff member with software specific to his or her work.\r\n\r\nHe or she may be required to train less experienced technicians as well as coordinate the work of support staff in performing duties related to the implementation of programs involving technical operations for which he or she is responsible.\r\n\r\nIf need be, he or she performs any other related duty.\r\n\r\nRequired qualifications<\/strong>\r\n\r\nSchooling<\/span>\r\n\r\nHold a Diploma of College Studies in Graphic Design or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.\r\n\r\n
