However, because of his or her qualifications, he or she works more independently and carries out the most intricate tasks.\r\n\r\nMoreover, he or she must assume partial or full responsibility for the installation, repair, conversion or renovation of the piping systems of the school board.\r\n\r\nIf need be, he or she performs any other related duty.\r\n\r\nRequired qualifications<\/strong>\r\n\r\nTraining<\/span>\r\n\r\nHold a contractor's licence issued by the Bureau des examinateurs en tuyauterie or an appropriate licence issued by a municipality under the Pipe Mechanics Act.\r\n\r\nIf a master pipe mechanic is required to work with gas, he or she must hold a valid certificate of competency issued by the R\u00e9gie du gaz naturel.\r\n\r\nHold any other permit or qualification certificate required by law or regulation.\r\n\r\n1<\/sup>\u00a0 No employee who is currently in the employ of the school board or who may become an employee of the school board can request to be attributed this class of employment after the date of the coming into force of the Classification Plan, May 3, 2000 edition.\r\n<\/em>\r\n\r\n
