Their expertise, commitment, and dedication are fundamental pillars of education in Quebec.\r\n\r\nUnder the theme <strong>\u201cProud to support education each and every day,\u201d<\/strong> we want to highlight the strategic role played by support and professional staff in a time when the education system is facing significant challenges. These individuals make a tangible contribution to educational success and the fulfillment of the institutions\u2019 mission.\r\n\r\n<strong>A Commitment Driven Predominantly by Women<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>This day also provides an opportunity to highlight the remarkable commitment of <strong>women, who make up a significant portion of support and professional staff<\/strong>. We find them playing a wide variety of roles, all of them vital to supporting students, organizing educational services, and maintaining inclusive and safe work environments. Their contribution deserves full and complete recognition, commensurate with their daily impact on the education system.\r\n\r\n<strong>Recognition Requires Action<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe federations emphasize that recognizing the work of support and professional staff must translate into fair working conditions, genuine appreciation of their expertise, and a clear political will to strengthen and sustain these essential jobs.
