Thank you for your understanding.\r\n\r\n<strong>What Impact Does the 0.11% Salary Adjustment Have on Your Salary?<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe new salary scales include a <strong>salary adjustment of 0.11%.<\/strong> This adjustment results from the application of the <strong>purchasing power protection clause<\/strong> negotiated within the framework of the current collective agreements and impacts current and future periods.\r\n\r\n<strong>Why this adjustment?<\/strong>\r\n\r\nFor the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, the negotiated salary increase was 2.6%. But the rate of inflation was actually 2.71%. This 0.11% difference therefore necessitates an adjustment aimed at protecting employees' purchasing power.\r\n\r\n<strong>When does it apply?<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>The 0.11% salary adjustment takes effect on March 31, 2026<\/strong>. It will have an impact on:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>the current period as of that date;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>as well as the <strong>two subsequent periods<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>What about retroactivity?<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThere will only be one retroactive adjustment:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Covering\u00a0 the period <strong>between March 31, 2026, and the date the new scales are applied by the school boards and service centers<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>School boards and service centers have until <strong>October 17, 2026<\/strong>, to make these adjustments.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Updated tables to better guide you<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe <strong>adjusted salary scales<\/strong> for each <a href=\"https:\/\/fpss.lacsq.org\/classes-demplois\/\">job classification<\/a> are now available. Simply choose <a href=\"https:\/\/fpss.lacsq.org\/classes-demplois\/\">yours<\/a>. We <strong>haven't finished updating the data on our English site<\/strong>.
