As a light vehicle driver, he travels through towns and villages, making deliveries to about thirty schools. Mail, boxes, computer equipment, screens, tablets\u2026 everything passes through his truck before reaching its destination.\r\n\r\n\"\"His job has evolved over the years. Initially, he mainly delivered mail. Today, he primarily transports packages and electronic equipment, sometimes expensive and essential for the schools to function. Yves is careful to record each delivery to ensure everything is properly tracked.\r\n\r\nAn essential link between establishments<\/strong>\r\n\r\nBut some deliveries are out of the ordinary. He has even transported 18-liter jugs of water for schools facing drinking water shortages. In those situations, you need to act quickly and adapt. \u201cWe do what\u2019s necessary to ensure schools have what they need,\u201d he explains simply.\r\n\r\n\"\"His route takes him to several schools each week. Some once, others twice, depending on an established schedule. Over time, Yves has become a familiar face. Staff members recognize him, and students sometimes greet him when he arrives.\r\n\r\nA first tour that he still remembers<\/strong>\r\n\r\nYves remembers his first day on the job in 2007 very well. It was a day marked by a severe snowstorm. \u201cThere were trucks everywhere on the road. I was doing my first delivery run. I\u2019ll always remember it,\u201d he says. Despite the difficult conditions, he completed his route and returned safely.\r\n\r\n\"\"The weather still doesn\u2019t stop him. The route must be completed every week. For him, safety always remains the priority. Respectful of the Highway Safety Code, he takes the time to do things properly.\r\n\r\nThe freedom of the open road and the joy of the seasons<\/strong>\r\n\r\nOne reason he loves his job so much is the freedom it gives him. Alone in his truck, on the roads connecting the schools, Yves has time to reflect, observe the changing landscapes, and appreciate the seasons.
