Alain left a lasting impression on all those who came into contact with him.\r\n\r\nA lover of motorcycles, caravanning and the great outdoors, Alain was a true road enthusiast. His rides through the rural landscapes of North America were a source of wonder and freedom for him.\r\n\r\nHis outspokenness and honesty were refreshing. He didn\u2019t mince words, but he always did so with kindness. Alain had that rare ability to say it like it is, without artifice or deflection. He was a genuine man, and that\u2019s what made him so special.\r\n\r\nAlain worked at the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) as a labor relations advisor for over 20 years, dedicating his time and energy to defending the rights and interests of members. He was a spokesperson for several school support staff negotiating teams.
