If I have been reassigned to a position which constitutes an involuntary demotion as defined in clause 7-3.09, am I covered by the agreement?
Yes. Clause 7-3.09 states that employees who have no choice but to be reassigned to a position which constitutes an involuntary demotion retain their class of employment and the related salary. They would therefore benefit from the 2010 maintenance agreement.
